CABINETS

The TIFFIN GT Series is designed with versatile cabinet storage (Figure 4-1) to accommodate all your organizational needs. Whether you're storing kitchen essentials, personal belongings, or travel accessories, the GT Series offers ample space throughout the interior. The front passenger-side galley cabinet provides convenient access to both an upper drawer and a lower compartment, while the rear bedroom area is equipped with overhead cabinets, ensuring additional storage for everyday necessities. With strategically placed cabinets throughout the coach, the TIFFIN GT Series delivers practical and efficient storage solutions to keep your space neat and clutter-free.
The cabinets in the TIFFIN GT Series are constructed from High-Pressure Laminate (HPL), a durable and stylish material known for its resistance to moisture, scratches, and general wear. HPL offers a smooth, easy-to-maintain surface, making it a practical choice for RV interiors. To clean HPL cabinets, simply use a soft cloth or sponge with warm water and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers that could damage the laminate finish. For tougher stains, a diluted vinegar solution or a non-abrasive household cleaner can be effective. Always dry the surface with a clean cloth to prevent moisture buildup, ensuring the cabinets remain in top condition for years to come.

Counter Tops:

The Tiffin GT Series features solid surface countertops (Figure 4-2), designed for durability and a refined aesthetic. To further enhance functionality, it incorporates a folding extension (Figure 4-3), providing additional workspace while integrating convenient storage for the cooktop. This intelligent design ensures an efficient and organized kitchen environment, optimizing both practicality and space within the vehicle.

Operating the Folding Extension
To Open:
1. Lift the extension top until it reaches its fully extended position (Figure 4-4).
2. Ensure the extension is securely in place before use.
To Close:
1. Firmly grasp the extension top on both sides for stability.
2. Simultaneously engage both lock release mechanisms (Figure 4-5) located underneath the extension top.
3. Carefully lower the extension top back to its original closed position.

Cleaning solid surface countertops is straightforward and requires minimal effort to maintain their appearance and durability. Here are some best practices:
• Daily Cleaning: Use warm soapy water and a soft cloth to wipe down the surface, removing dirt and grease.
• Stain Removal: For tougher stains, apply an ammonia-based cleaner, let it sit for a couple of minutes, and then wipe it away.
• Disinfection: Occasionally, use a diluted bleach solution (5 tablespoons of bleach per gallon of water) to disinfect the
surface.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong acidic or alkaline cleaners, as they can damage the finish.
• Prevent Scratches: Use a microfiber cloth instead of abrasive pads and avoid cutting directly on the surface.
• Heat Protection: Do not place hot pans or appliances directly on the countertop; use trivets or heat-resistant pads.

Rear Seating:

To adjust the seating or set up the sofa bed, follow these steps using the Spyder Multiplex Control Panel (Figure 4-6):
1. Access the Control Panel
• Navigate to the Spyder Multiplex Control Panel and tap on the home page (Figure 4-7) to display available options.
2. Select Your Action
• Tap on the Mechanical, (MECH) function (Figure 4-8) to access the Rear Seat Controls
3. Select Your Action
• The control panel offers multiple functions (Figure 4-9):
• DOWN: Lowers the seat cushion for easier access.
• UP: Raises the seat cushion back into position.
4. Choose the Specific Area to Adjust
• D/S Ottoman: Adjusts the Driver's Side Ottoman.
• P/S Ottoman: Adjusts the Passenger's Side Ottoman.
• Rear Sofa: Controls the three-passenger sofa bed.

Cleaning & Maintenance

1. Clean with either soap & water or an alcohol-based cleaner.
2. Thoroughly rinse all solution residue with clean water.
3. Air dry naturally for the best results.
For stubborn stains, wipe with isopropyl alcohol as soon as possible. No aftercare treatments are needed or recommended. By following these simple steps, the Ultrafabric-covered seats in the Tiffin GT Series will maintain their durability, performance, and premium feel for years to come.

Lagun Table:

In the Tiffin GT Series, the lagun table mount (Figure 4-11) is conveniently positioned below the driver-side ottoman, providing a stable and adjustable support system for the table. Designed for 
flexibility, the mount allows users to easily swivel and reposition the table to accommodate different seating arrangements or maximize space. This thoughtful placement ensures easy accessibility while maintaining a clean and organized interior layout. Whether used for dining, work, or leisure, the lagun table mount enhances functionality and comfort within the motorhome. In the Tiffin GT Series, the Lagun tabletop and leg storage compartment is thoughtfully positioned behind the driver’s seat, providing a designated space for securely storing the tabletop and leg when not in use. This strategic placement ensures that the components remain easily accessible while keeping the interior organized and free of clutter.

Setting Up the Lagun Table (Figure 4-13):
1. Insert the Table Leg
• Slide the table leg into the rail of the pre-installed mounting plate.
2. Secure the Handle
• Tighten the handle of the table leg firmly to ensure stability.
3. Test Stability
• Verify that the table leg can bear the load by carefully applying pressure from above.
• If necessary, tighten the handle again for added security.
4. Attach the Lagun Arm
• Place the Lagun arm, along with the under-table mounting plate and the pre-assembled tabletop, onto the installed leg.
5. Adjust Arm & Tabletop
• Tighten the arm and tabletop as required. The firmer the grip, the harder it will be to move them.

Outdoor Storage Drawer and Cutting Board:

The Tiffin GT is designed with a convenient outdoor storage drawer (Figure 4-14), that includes a cutting board (Figure 4-15), located on the exterior of the galley base for easy access to essential kitchen tools while maximizing space efficiency. The cutting board is specifically designed to fit securely and flush on top of the storage drawer, providing a stable and convenient surface for meal preparation while preventing shifting during travel. This thoughtful integration enhances functionality and keeps the cutting board neatly positioned when not in use. However, to prevent potential damage, it is important to ensure that the storage drawer is fully closed before shutting the exterior door.
The Tiffin GT Series cutting board is made from Plyboo bamboo, a durable and environmentally friendly material known for its strength, sustainability, and refined appearance. Engineered from layers of pressed bamboo, Plyboo resists warping and provides a naturally antimicrobial surface—perfect for everyday kitchen use.
To keep it clean, wash the cutting board with warm, soapy water using a soft cloth or sponge after each use. Avoid soaking it or putting it in the dishwasher, as prolonged exposure to moisture and heat can damage the bamboo. Dry thoroughly with a towel and occasionally apply a food-safe mineral oil to maintain the board’s smooth finish and prevent cracking. With just a little care, your Plyboo surface will stay beautiful and functional for years to come.
