7-Year Limited Paint Protection Film Warranty

Diamond Shield warranties its Peak Paint Protection Film (“the Product”), against installation issues such as peeling or puckering edges, as well as cracking, bubbling, or yellowing caused solely by defects in the manufacture of materials for a period of (7) years. The limited warranty, which begins on the date the Product is purchased by the end user, is offered only to the original end-user purchaser and is not transferable.

What IS covered by the Limited Warranty?

• ​​​​​​​Safe Delivery Guarantee: Damage from rock impacts during transit from Manufacturer to Dealer on protected areas – replace Product at no charge, not responsible for paint
• Installation Issue or Product failure – replace Product at no charge, and potential consideration towards paint repairs that arise as a direct result of the Product replacement (does not apply to preexisting paint issues). Applies only for as long as the original purchaser remains under the RV Manufacturer’s original factory warranty.

What IS NOT covered by the Limited Warranty?

• Damage to the Product and or paint from stone chips/light road debris post sale
• Chips through the Product and paint that result in damage to the substrate (i.e. cracks into the fiberglass or metal)
• Damage to the Product incurred after delivery to dealer, not noted on DAS, considered “lot damage” or post sale damage considered “customer damage”
• Collision damage
• Paint overspray or chemical damage
• Damage caused by improper cleaning methods, resulting in tears, scuffing, and scratching not noted at delivery; damage from pressure washers
• Lack of product care, as outlined by product maintenance requirements available online by visiting diamond-shield.com
• Staining from run-off, chemicals, bug acid, and mold

This warranty is valid only if the Product application was performed by a certified Diamond Shield installer in the United States or Canada in accordance with manufacturer’s application procedures and applicable law. If the Product does not conform to the warranty described above, Diamond Shield will appoint an installer to remove the original Product and apply new Product at no charge. The obligation of Diamond Shield under this warranty is limited solely to the removal and replacement of the Product not conforming to the warranty. Due to the varying nature and quality of paint, Diamond Shield will not be responsible for any paint damage after the original purchaser’s RV Manufacturer’s factory warranty is void. The RV Manufacturer’s factory warranty period does not include any additional warranty coverage purchased either at the point of sale or aftermarket.
