Vegatouch Eclipse App Overview

The Eclipse app is designed to securely connect to Firefly's Vegatouch Eclipse module using a user specific pin. Once th app is connected and authenticated the suer has access to a multitude of controls including but not limited to lights, HAVAC, slides, power readings and door locks. Once the module is configured though the app and connected to the internet the user can connect to the module from anywhere. When the app is connected to the module remotely through the internet the user can control any function that does not present a safety risk.
Simple yet powerful
The design of the Eclipse app was designed with simplicity in mind. Making it so every caliber of the user can navigate and use the app with ease.
The navigation bar at the bottom of the app allows the user to jump directly to whatever page they need quickly.
When the app is connected it detects what coach the module is in, allowing the app to be customized to match the system and other screens in the coach.

System information and help
In the navigation bar the user can find a settings page. On this page users will find information about what coach they are connected to along with a multitude of options and settings. Some of these options have to do with the look of and feel of the app while other have to do with the network connections.

Another thing that can be found on the settings page as well as on the navigation bar is a button to open the apps help topics. The topics are organized into pages for easy navigation. Also, the user will find a partially filled email form to reach out to our tech support team for any additional questions.

Security
With the latest versions of the Eclipse firmware we are taking our security to the next level. All traffic between the phone and module is encrypted. If a device tries to enter the pin incorrectly after the fifth attempt the board will lock out for a set amount of time. To prevent malicious individuals from guessing at the pin. When a user connects remotely the connections uses SSL to connect to the Vegatouch relay servers.
